About BrandPointZero

We’re the first to admit that the BrandPointZero name might be new to you but, between us, we’ve racked up some pretty impressive experience.

We’re a fabulous collective of old and new, quite literally. We’ve worked on some fantastic projects, from developing employer brand and communications strategies to helping organisations to attract and retain the very best talent… and collected our fair share* of industry awards too. You might even have met a few of us along the way. If you’ve yet to have that *ahem* pleasure, here’s a bit more about us and also some of our trusted partners.

*A quite generous fair share if we’re honest.

Meet the team

Anna Mitchell

Anna Mitchell

Hi, I’m Anna, a Client Executive at BPZ. I support a variety of clients on a variety of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

After a recent 7-month trip around the world, I was thrilled to return to Bristol and finally put my communications degree to use in a creative environment. My background is a unique blend of retail, social media management, and financial services recruitment.

When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me enjoying a perfectly poured flat white or stretching out in a Yoga & Meditation class .

Becky Simpson

Becky Simpson

Hi, I’m Becky – Client Executive at BrandPointZero.

I first dipped my toes into the digital marketing world as a Copywriter, but after a few years I wanted a new challenge. I was keen to get stuck into a client-facing role and find out what really makes companies tick.

Whatever ideas you have for a new project or campaign, I’m here to listen and make it happen.

In my free time I love having a sing and a dance, whether that’s at a gig, a festival, or just while I’m cooking tea. At the weekend you’ll find me catching up with friends in a cosy pub and playing pool (very badly!)

Ben Everett

Ben Everett

As Video & Motion Designer, it’s my job to bring the plans of the creative team to life. I’m either out with cameras capturing content, or in the office animating and editing.

My career has varied from automotive photography, travel adverts, cookery shows, short documentaries, and everything in-between. I love the challenge of solving a creative problem, especially when on a shoot.

After working in social media, I was keen to get back to content that was more focused on human stories at work. Now at the PZ Group, I’ve been able to return to my creative roots – putting a brand’s identity into motion.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my daughter. She’s just got her first skateboard so I’m teaching her how to skate. Other than that, I’m a bit of a nerd so any nerdy hobby you can think of I’ve probably dabbled in it.

Joe Hoppard

Joe Hoppard

As Strategy and Planning Director, I help understand and simplify our clients’ problems. Then I use theory and imagination to inspire our teams towards the most effective solutions.

I worked in big consumer marketing agencies for about 12 years before finding my way into employer brand and employee engagement in 2021.

I’ve done all sorts in my career, from leading strategy on big commercial accounts like Virgin Media, through to solving complex employee engagement problems for brands like NatWest Group.

Now I’m happy to be a part of PointZero Group – It’s the most exciting place to be in our industry right now!

I have two beautiful kids (The Hoppettes) and an amazing wife. We love to splash around in the muddy hills near where we live in south Wales. And I am a very enthusiastic* guitarist.

(*Not very good)

Yazz Williams

Yazz Williams

Hi, I’m Yazz. It’s my job to take designs created by the senior creative team and prepare them for production.

It’s incredibly varied and can involve anything from fleshing out concepts to making simple corrections to colour, text or layout.

I’ve had a varied career so far, from working on tool packaging to editorial for women’s magazines and artworking for a UK branded clothing company. I wanted to challenge myself to develop further, but most importantly to find somewhere I belong. The team here are amazing and I can’t wait to see how I evolve in my role.

When I’m not an artworking Jedi, I really enjoy going to the cinema. I do like getting cozy and watching films at home, but no film is as good on the small screen.

Andy Bamford

Andy Bamford

I hate writing bios. I started an employer marketing agency in Bristol, many years ago, with the help of a few friends. Over the years we got a bit better at what we did until we woke up one morning and we were the largest independently owned agency in our sector. We sold that business in 2015, and I stayed on as Chief Executive for 3 years – before leaving to put my feet up. That didn’t last long, as I was getting a bit bored and I was really excited by the prospect of working again.

I’ve got quite a few grey hairs, lots of stories and a view on where our market’s going, which I’d be more than happy to share over lunch, dinner or just a chat. Whatever takes your fancy.

Sandy Vossos

Sandy Vossos

Having worked in brand, marketing and communications agencies in Bristol and London for over 25 years (I don’t look that old, you say? Why, thank you)…I’ve been lucky enough to get close to some great brands and forward-thinking organisations. Ones who are on transformational journeys, like AXA (globally) and Inspired Villages (a little closer to home). Right now, I’m excited by what the future holds. The world of work is changing dramatically, and I’m really looking forward to being part of it.

Adam Lane

Adam Lane

I’ve been working in marketing and communications for over ten years. It all started because of a hole in one…isn’t it strange how these things come about? Since then I’ve worked with clients across a variety of sectors. I’ve been lucky enough to work with AXA to reposition them as an employer in the UK and more recently, I’ve worked with some fantastic people at LV= to creatively articulate their employer brand. Working with passionate people on interesting and challenging briefs is what drives me. That, good coffee and the odd glass of wine (not together, obvs).

Ben Keylock

Ben Keylock

My passions lie in storytelling and big ideas that really deliver on any brief. Over the past 17 years I’ve had the pleasure of solving creative problems for some of the biggest B2B and B2C brands around the world including Nationwide Building Society, Bosch, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, P&G, KPMG, Mitsubishi and Sophos to name but a few, winning a few awards along the way.

As Creative Director at BPZ I am responsible for leading and overseeing all brand and campaign activity from a creative and strategic viewpoint. From brief, conception, through to completion I strive for the most impactful, cohesive and engaging outputs for companies and organisations around UK and beyond.

A bit about me: I’ve sent a working lightbulb in the post and named a street in Bristol. I’ve worked with some of the best, and some of the worst and learnt just as much from both. If I hadn’t come into the world of brand & advertising, I think I would have been a woodman or a fisherman and more than once I have been used in photo and video shoots as a last minute model.

Oli Trotter

Oli Trotter

Understanding what makes us tick is the bit of the job I love. Throughout my ten-year career I’ve worked closely with clients across iconic brands and multiple sectors including The Scottish Government, FMCG and financial services to get under the skin of the brief and develop bold ideas that work.

Whether it’s serving cocktails made from waste ingredients to the world’s top bartenders, chaperoning Sir Alex Ferguson on a film shoot or devising the customer experience for Manhattan’s first bourbon distillery, it’s been an adventure not short of variety or challenge. Just as well, as I am up for both.

Charlotte Josling

Charlotte Josling

Hello, I’m Charlotte – Chief Office Brownie Maker and Client Partner here at BrandPointZero. I started my career riding rollercoasters. And what a (metaphorical) rollercoaster it’s been. Ten years on, I’ve delivered projects (and results) for big brands such as LEGOLAND, Shell, Virgin Media and Hyundai.

It all starts with a good brief and a good spreadsheet. If you’ve not got a brief but do have a goal, that’s okay too  – we’ll get through it together.

Jack Cruwys-Finnigan

Jack Cruwys-Finnigan

Hi, I’m Jack – a graphic designer and Associate Creative Director. Over the years I have discovered a love for the more conceptual side of design and relish working in ‘campaign world’. I’ve previously worked with clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Castrol, UWE Bristol and S&P Global Platts. We spend about a third of our lives at work, so anything I can do to make that a better place for people is a win for me.

Outside of work, I spend a lot (like a-lot) of time on my bike, a hobby I couldn’t live without. If I’m not cycling, chances are I’m persevering with some DIY as my partner and I are currently renovating our second project house. I love a challenge.

Kate Lenton

Kate Lenton

My role as Development Partner is to co-drive BPZ’s growth and evolution, ensuring we make a genuine difference to the lives of our team, our clients and their people.

The journey here has been a pretty-varied one – I started out as a Corporate Comms designer, before moving into digital and starting my own digital agency, which I ran for a decade. In more recent years I have been at the helm of a multi-award-winning brand expression agency as Managing Partner, creating the right conditions for people to grow (and creative magic to happen), and strategically leading global digital projects for some of the world’s biggest brands.

I’m also actively involved in the creative industries and passionate about helping young people to access the right opportunities and find their stride in the world… although admittedly some days I can’t even help my two ‘young people’ find their shoes : )

Sophie Evans

Sophie Evans

I’m an experienced Client Manager who’s spent the last couple of years in the world of student marketing and I’m a dab hand at delivering brand ambassador programmes. If you need a marketing campaign to be planned, launched and managed brilliantly, I’m your girl. In my spare time I enjoy trying new things. So much so, that during my time at university, I jumped into things I thought were fun, regardless of whether I could actually do them or not (partly how I became social sec of the Wakeboard society without ever stepping foot on a board… but that’s a story for another time).

Angie Holden

Angie Holden

Angie has been making the numbers add up for businesses large and small for most of her career. She’s here to keep us all on the straight and narrow. She’ll look after everything to do with finance, including making sure we get paid…and that we pay others on time too.

When she’s not tapping away on her calculator, she’s a mum of four, who all keep her on her toes and she manages her very own big house in the country…it’s a Blur song reference for those of you younger than 30.

Vicky Sands

Vicky Sands

Hi, I’m Vicky – as office manager here at BrandPointZero, I keep the behind-the-scenes bits running smoothly. I’ve got heaps of experience and really enjoy the variety of my job, whether I’m tallying spreadsheets or helping to create a great environment for the team to do their stuff.

I love learning languages, walking and swimming, and head to a West Country beach as often as I can!

If you could achieve just one thing this year, what would it be?🤔 We’re trying something new for our personal development this year – public goals! The idea being, if everyone is aware of what you’re trying to achieve, then people can actively spot opportunities to help you achieve it🌟
